Amedeo Citro is a brand new artist on the rise! Amedeo has been passionate about music since a very young age, He first started writing music (Mostly poems) at only 8 years old. When he was 15 he made his first visit to the studio, Amedeo was fully in love with writing music and learning new instruments to add to his arsenal. Watching MTV also helped inspire him as he would see himself doing what he saw on tv, At this point he was writing full songs very frequently. Amedeos list of inspirations goes on for miles, His 3 biggest inspirations or influences are Kanye West, Post Malone and Dominic Fike. He loves the diversity and uniqueness of these artists. Throughout the Pandemic the process has been different then normal for Amedeo, He still could not stop working with everything closed as he would make a new piece of content everyday during the quarantine. Amedeos favorite thing about being an artist is to spread positivity, “My main purpose for becoming an artist was to spread a positive / relatable message to people. The most satisfying thing about being an artist like me is I feel that I speak and relate to a very diverse group of people’’. Amedeo has a different process when writing or creating music then others he can make music from pretty much anywhere and bases it on his setting, “I could be walking down the street and chords pop into my head, or I could be sitting in the studio and writing something there. It’s all about set and setting. More music from me coming soon will make this more apparent, depending on the set and setting of my day, that’s what kind of song i’ll create”. Amedeos’ come up is similar yet different to other artists as he works nonstop on everything for his craft. “Nobody works like me. everything counts. Every interaction, every lyric, every chord I play counts. I wanted to become a versatile singer/producer/engineer and I was able to do it. through every road block I’ve hit I’ve never given up”. His newest single titled “close” is available on all major streaming platforms!
