asche is creating a movement out of miami! He first started making music at 15 being a producer, It was not until years after he decided to fully pursue a career as an artist. We got the chance to catch up with asche and asked him “How did you first start in music?” He had this to say. “I’ve always been a creator, mainly through visual arts at first. I’ve started writing poems and adding melodies to them, then I started to play with Logic Pro and experimenting with music production. The next step was singing which I always did, secretly then I just had to put all of those skills together and started writing songs every day for a whole year. That’s when I realized I was a musician, it was very organic”. asche has a couple different musically inspirations that consist of mainstream pop and rap icons, His biggest inspirations are Post Malone, The weekend and Juice WRLD. These artists have inspired asche in his songwriting and production. The pandemic has helped push asche in music more, We asked him “How has music been through the pandemic?” He had this to say! “It literally pushed me to start writing again, and most importantly releasing it into the world for the first time. On a personal note, other artists’ music played a huge role in keeping me sane through lockdowns”. asche enjoys a number of things about being an artist, But his favorite thing about being an artist is sharing his feelings through music and others relating to those feelings or not feeling alone through a similar experience. Something odd or interesting about asche’s come up is his first song being played on local radio! It’s not exactly what you think but asche explained to us how it happened. “When I released my song ‘miami’ a major local artist released a song of the same title, and as a result I ended up getting played on the radio accidentally that day, which was surreal for my first release, even though they announced it as if the song was someone else’s”. To this date asche has around 10 thousand Monthly listeners on spotify and around 80 thousand total streams on spotify with only 3 different songs out, He also has a big following of 84,000 on instagram! He had this to say about his most recent song “Wasted (youth).”My new single wasted (youth) is definitely my most personal release to date. This song is a reflection on my younger years and how I feel like my childhood had been stolen, due to having to deal with extremely heavy experiences such as alcoholism and infidelity in my household. The song is a moment of clarity for me, looking back at my past now as an adult, reclaiming my identity. The artwork is my take on the Matrix I lived in created by religion, ignorance and judgement”.
