Bxpolar is next up out of New York! The 20 year old artist first started making music when he was in middle school but just recently has decided to take it seriously in 2019. We had the chance to catch up with Bxpolar and decided to ask him “How did you first start music?” He had this to say. “I started with parody songs for my call of duty clan called RAZE and also made adult songs kid friendly (I made a remix to F*****g problems by asap rocky) then I started making music based on what i was going through during 2018 and on.” We found this to be a pretty cool and different way to touch the music scene. Many artists will first start off by taking music seriously which is not a bad route but this can lead them to being burnt out quickly because the music is not gonna sound the best when you’re just starting out. Bxpolar decided to first start making music that was fun and he enjoyed making. Different artists enjoy different things about what they do. Some like the feeling of fans singing their music at shows and others enjoy the high they get from turning a blank canvas into a hit song. To learn more about Bxpolar we decided to ask him “I enjoy creating music that people can connect to. I also love performing and showing love to the people who show me love.” It seems like Bxpolar equally likes the process of making music that people relate to, connecting with new people and the feeling he gets when he is performing. The Pandemic has affected all of us across the world in different ways. Some people were very lost (Which is ok) and did not know what to do which resulted in them stopping many hobbies or things they loved. Others were working harder than ever to further their careers or passions. We asked Bxpolar “How was music through the Pandemic?” He said this. “It gave me much more time to work on my craft and find my sound. As Well as meeting new people and finding resources to further my career.” Even a Pandemic can not stop Bxpolar from grinding to further his career. This shows the true dedication and passion Bxpolar has to his craft. Many artists have inspirations to their music, To learn more about what shaped Bxpolars music we decided to ask him “who are some of your biggest inspirations?” He had this to say. “XXXTENTACION is definitely #1. I loved how versatile he was and also how caring he was of the people around him, friends and fans alike. I’m also inspired by MF DOOM, ski mask, the slump god jessie reyez and a lot of 90’s artists.`` A mix of these artists can be heard in Bxpolars music as he raps with very deep bars about mental health and how he feels. He has a flow style similar to the 90s mixed with current mainstream artists and lyrics similar to XXXTENTACION’s slower songs. We, like everybody else, do not know what the future holds but we do know that it is important to have a plan roughly sketched out in order to reach success. So we asked Bxpolar “Where do you see yourself in the next five years?” He responded with this. “I see myself doing shows/touring along with some artist friends and bigger artists, as well as having a successful clothing brand and helping people (especially with their mental health) on a larger scale!” We believe that these goals are without a doubt reachable for Bxpolar. He is not just trying to put on for himself, family or friends. He truly wants to help anyone and everyone who has been affected by any mental health issues through his voice and by spreading awareness. To this date Bxpolar has around 300 thousand streams across all platforms with over 200 thousand of them coming from spotify. His most recent song is titled “Namaste” which features Stafford Beats and Rhyan Besco is live on all platforms. To end off the write up Bxpolar wanted to say one more thing to anybody reading this. “I genuinely want to help people, no matter their age, color or gender. Express yourself in a positive way when negative emotions arise and you’ll do great things!”
