Doozy is an artist from Pahrump, Nevada, who has been gaining traction in the music industry. He is inspired by mainstream artists such as; XXXTENTACION, Joji, Lil Peep, Juice WRLD, Post Malone, and Lil Skies.
He started making music when he was 14 as the front man singer of an alternative rock band Tower of Cards. They made some pretty big waves back in his hometown, and he once preformed at Las Vegas, in front of 1,000 people at the House of Blues. Sadly, they all split up after highschool and went their separate ways to go to different colleges but Doozy says that they left a huge impact on him and how he sees music.
Now, by himself, he is slowly but surely making a name for himself as an artist on multiple outlets such as; Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and Soundcloud. On Spotify, his first song “SLO-MO” garnered 96,000 streams organically without any promotion, which is really good as most artists can’t even break 100 without promotion.
He just recently announced that he will be releasing a 9 song album on 12/12/2020, entitled Expectations. Expectations features 9 songs, all created by himself, The songs on the album can be described as atmospheric, wavy, and melodic. He says that he is making some of the most unique, creative sounding songs that take a step outside of the formulaic hip-hop that most people are used to hearing, and he is bringing something brand new to the table with this upcoming album.
