Endie is next up out of Louisiana! Endie first started making music in july of 2020 and is fairly new to the scene. We had the chance to catch up with Endie earlier this week and decided to ask him “How did you first get started in music?” He had this to say. “ I started by getting Fl studio and autotune then watching youtube tutorials every day for 6 months in hopes to be an engineer”. We found this answer to be different from most artists as Endie started working on the engineer side first before diving into making a song with vocals. This is a pretty cool way to go about things because when it comes to mixing the music Endie will be ready to go and can make sure the music sounds the way he wants it to sound. Different artists enjoy different things about what they do. Some artists like performing live the most while others like the creative process of starting with a blank canvas and turning it into a song and everything in between. This is why we asked Endie what he enjoys most about being an artist, He said this. “My favorite thing about being an artist is the fact that I can release music that relates to my life and my feelings and get so much support and relate to so many people. It makes me feel less alone.” We found this to be a great answer! As Endies favorite thing is to create and put out music that directly relates to the listeners in order to help both him and the listener. It helps Endie feel less lonely and it helps the listener express whatever feelings they might have at the time or a past feeling that they have that they can relate to the song. The Pandemic has affected and put a strain on all of our lives. Some artists have been very demotivated from the Pandemic while others are working harder than ever. This is why we asked Endie ``What was it like creating music throughout the Pandmeic?” He had this to say. “Honestly, I started at the beginning of the pandemic, and It was the best decision I ever made. I put my whole focus into music, and while I lost most of my real-life friends due to quarantine, I made new friends online who I appreciate and love so so much.” We found this answer to be great and very impactful! Most people are very afraid of taking risks for fears of being judged or not working out. Endie does not have this fear and decides to take the risk. This risk ended up being one of the best decisions he ever made. We, like everybody else, do not know what the future holds for Endie. But we hope and believe that if Endie keeps up the hard work and connsitey that he will be a star in both the mainstream and the underground within the next couple years.
