gonedark is a new artist on the rise! He first started making music six years ago in 2015 but just recently in may of 2021 he decided to scrap everything to go under his new alias “gonedark”. He first got into making music when he saw his older brother doing it. He reflected on his past when we caught up with him about it: “It really inspired me. I thought it was so cool, and I wanted to give it a try. Over the years I met some really awesome people and just kept creating. I’ve learned so much and I’ve grown tremendously since I first began.” His biggest inspiration is his close friend and fellow artist Randal who is also apart of the hit group “47stillstanding” that has garnered over 40 Thousand Monthly listeners on spotify with there top song at around 1.5 million plays. gonedark had this to say when talking about how they helped evolve his music. “Hearing what they made together drove me to learn new ways to layer my vocals, and record my own voice. All in all, they played one of the biggest parts in what made my music what it is today.” In five years time gonedark hopes to see himself trending on the charts but his main focus is just to keep creating and making great music for everyone to listen to. “My focus has always been the music, and the fact that I made a brand-new name and only in one month I was able to get a collective group of 300+ monthly listeners, is absolutely crazy to me. In five years I really just want to see myself making music the same as always. I want my friends to be proud of me and the music I make, and I want them to love it as much as they would any other Artist”. We do not know what the future holds for gonedark but it is possible for him to chart in the next five years with him having over 3 Thousand streams in just the first month of him going by his new name. His new song “Black Out” (Featuring R I S K L I F E) is available on all major streaming platforms! To end it off gonedark had something to say to any of his listeners or supporters. “From the bottom of my heart to anybody that listens to my music and genuinely likes it or understands it. Thank you. You’re the reason I keep on making music. And you’re the reason I strive to make the best music I can make.”
