JapanVeneta is next up out of New York! The 14 year old rapper first started making music during the Covid Quarantine in 2020 but just recently started to take things seriously in the last year. We had the chance to catch up with JapanVeneta earlier this week and decided to ask him “How did you start music?” He had this to say. “I started music because I was just online all the time seeing people like Tay k, lil pump, and smokepurpp blowing up and decided to mess around with it”. We found this to be an interesting answer as lots of the artists that Veneta listed all blew up kind of by accident and started rapping just for the fun of it. JapanVeneta has a better chance of blowing up like one of these artists since he is very young at only 14. Different artists enjoy different things about what they do. Some like the satisfaction of fans while others like the creative process the most. This is why we asked JapanVeneta “What do you enjoy most about being an artist?” He said this. “Making music people can really just vibe out to.” Venetas favorite thing about being an artist is making his fans forget about their problems by listening to his music to vibe out too. Making music that you truly enjoy is also a very important factor that Veneta already has! Everybody from all walks of life has somebody or something that gives them inspiration. So we asked JapanVeneta “Who are some of your biggest inspirations?” He responded with this. “My biggest inspos are definitely chief keef, Slimesito, duwap, carti, pump and dex. They really made me”. You can tell from Venetas music that all of these artists have played a big role in inspiring Veneta to create what he is creating today. We, like everybody else, do not know what the future holds but we do know that it is important to have a rough plan sketched so you can know if you are reaching your goals or not. We asked JapanVeneta “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” He said this. “I see myself rich as fuck off this music and living comfortably”. We think that this goal is without a doubt possible, With Veneta being only 14 he has shown a ton of potential and has already garnered a solid following online. To this date JapanVeneta currently has over 3 million streams across all platforms. His top song on spotify is titled “beam” and was produced by Platinum artist Lil Tecca. The song is very unique and uses diverse flows and effects. JapanVeneta’s most recent release titled “PayPal ‘’ is available now on Soundcloud.
