Jeb is the next big artist out of Charlotte! The former college baseball player is working harder behind the scenes than any other underground artist out there. We got a chance to catch up with jeb and asked him how he first got into music, he had this to say “I’ve loved writing and freestyling since around the 6th grade, but I didn’t record my first song until my freshman year in high school”. Jebs’ come up story music is tough like many other artists, He had to start at the bottom with the bare minimum “I started making music in my room with a beat up acer laptop in a free music software called audacity. I used a microphone from the video game rockband until I scraped together enough money to finally buy an actual mic”. Jeb has many different inspirations in music, He takes different pieces from some of his favorite artists’ work to sew together his own style and craft. “Some of my biggest inspirations are Tory Lanez, Drake, Bryson Tiller, Big Sean, ETC.. I take influence from a lot of different artists and styles of music and turn it into my own’’. In five years time Jeb sees himself making a living off of his music, “I see myself never punching a clock again. I see myself making a living off of music while being able to take care of my friends and family.” We do not know what the future holds for Jeb but we believe that this goal is extremely possible with his diverse and melodic style. At the time of this article jeb has a total of 42 Thousand streams across all platforms. His most recent single “Day by Day’’ is available on all major streaming platforms! To end off the article Jeb wanted to say something to the fans anoucning the date for his next song and confirming an album for the future. He will also be teaming up with “Nick Nash’’ for his next song, a producer who has a list of credits including Platinum artists Fetty Wap and Famous Dex. “Just because I’m silent and not active doesn’t mean I’m not working. I spend hours on top of hours every day working on my craft and making sure I’m putting out the best music possible. My next release, “Longshot” produced by Nick Nash, will be out Friday, August 13th. I plan on dropping a single every month while I also work on my first album so stay tuned”.
