Mahdi Dergham aka Dergs is creating quite the buzz in the industry. With almost 3 years in the industry he’s building a name for himself.

Mahdi recorded his first song January of 2018, when he dropped his first track. He recalls writing motivational speeches before getting into music, and even when he listened to music he would focus on the lyrics and meaning behind them. This later lead him to focus on lyracism and incorporate his personal feelings into the music to express how he felt.

Mahdi’s main inspirations include artists like NF, mainly because of the origin story’s of what sparked their career. NF started music at the age of 19 to express his lyrics of personal life, this allows for connection between the musician and their audience, a similar goal that Mahdi strives for.

Mahdi has big plans for the future planning to continue to drop tracks that are relatable to life and connect with his supporters. He sees himself performing more in the future as well as more booking gigs, especially after recently performing for the first time, in Atlanta.
