In the vibrant scene of the music industry, Saucalini emerges as a dynamic force, blending influences from rap, R&B, jazz, and house music to create a sound uniquely his own. In an exclusive interview, Saucalini shares insights into his musical journey, inspirations, and aspirations for the future.

Saucalini, whose name is a reflection of his “saucy” and innovative approach to music, embarked on his musical odyssey in 2013. But his love affair with music began long before, nurtured by the diverse tastes of his childhood. “My brother and one of my friends used to make me rap mixtapes when I was a kid, which made me fall in love with it,” he reminisces. “I was always musically inclined because my mom got me a mini steel drum and put me and my brother in piano classes when we were kids, type shit lol.”

High school became a breeding ground for creativity, where Saucalini’s passion for music flourished amidst the haze of smoke-filled afternoons spent freestyling with friends. “Smoking weed after school and rapping with the homies made me want to record music,” he recalls.

When asked about his influences, Saucalini’s list reads like a journey through the history of hip-hop and beyond. From the mainstream icons of his elementary years such as Lil Wayne, Kanye, 50 cent and Snoop dogg, etc. To the music sensations that shaped his high school experience, Such as Mac Miller, Drake, Nipsey Hussle, Wiz Khalifa and Chief Keef to name a few, Bay area influences such as too short and E40 add to the diverse. musical palette.

Looking to the future, Saucalini envisions a path paved with global adventures and musical conquests. “It’d be fun to travel the world and show people these songs,” he said. “Regardless, I’ll still be making music because it’s what I love to do.”

For Saucalini, the true joy of music lies in its ability to transport both creator and listener to a realm of pure bliss. “The feeling I get as a musician is I’m able to completely disconnect from real life when I’m in the moment making a song,” he shares. “Nothing else gives me as good of a feeling than being in my bag mixing vocals I just recorded.”

Yet, amidst the euphoria of creation, Saucalini acknowledges the challenges inherent in navigating an industry shaped by ever-shifting algorithms and trends. “Watching the artist vs. algorithm war happen slowly over time has been a challenge,” he admits. “But the game is forever changing, so you just gotta find ways to make it work.”

At the core of Saucalini’s artistry lies a simple yet profound goal: to connect with his audience and inspire them to be “cool good people.” “To find a bigger audience, be able to connect with them, and influence them,” he affirms.

And why does Saucalini make music? The answer is as straightforward as it is profound: “I can’t not,” he states simply. “It’s one of the few things that will always be there for me as an artist and us as listeners.”

As for his creative process, Saucalini’s approach has evolved over time, transitioning from meticulous songwriting to spontaneous bursts of inspiration. “I try to channel a situation or my imagination in the moment,” he explains. “Melodies come easy to me, and I find I come up with way better shit than I ever did trying to write something out.”

In parting, Saucalini leaves us with a tantalizing promise of versatility and authenticity. “I have a wide variety of influences, so you’ll get something refreshing or different from me every time,” he asserts. “You can find me anywhere on the internet @Saucalini. Take care of yourself and get your money!”

In the world of Saucalini, music isn’t just a form of expression — it’s a journey, a revelation, and a testament to the enduring power of passion and creativity. And as he continues to carve his own path through the industry, one thing remains certain: the world hasn’t heard the last of Saucalini.
