Young T.u.T is on the rise out of Charleston South Carolina. The 20 year old artist just recently released his song hit Bout it Freestyle, The song starts out right when you click play with a plethora of catchy bars. The song starts out with the lyrics ``Got all these tools up in my pocket feel like bob the bill”. Which is a lyric that hits you in the face and can not stop you from bobbing your head. A couple lines later in the freestyle T.u.T briefly raps about his time skipping school with some unmatched lyrics that would have been ridiculous even if they were written. “I was skipping all my classes cause I like to play the field. School of Hard Knocks I aint failed a class I gained a skill”. We got the chance to catch up with Young T.u.T earlier this week and decided to start out by asking him “How did you start music?” He had this to say. “I used to freestyle for fun a lot then my lil brother told me I should make a real song so I did in my closet.” This was a cool story to hear. A lot of people will make excuses about not starting something. Young T.u.T did the complete opposite and started recording wherever he could. Young T.u.T had plenty of experience before putting out his first song as he first started rapping in High School but just recently in the last year has started releasing music. Different artists enjoy different things about making music, T.u.Ts favorite thing about making music is having people listen to the music and get something out of it like relating to it or simply enjoying it. Throughout the Pandemic artists have gone a couple different ways. The main two ways are working hard and still being passionate about music or working a lot less on it. T.u.T is without a doubt the first one of these two options as he has still been working non stop on his music. The main hurdle T.u.T has had to face is the diffuantly of doing shows and performing live with lots of venues being shut down during the pandemic. Artists have lots of different inspirations, T.u.Ts two biggest and main inspirations are Lil Wayne and J cole. Both of these artists are some of the best lyricists of all time. We, like everybody else, do not know what the future holds but we do know that it is important to have a plan in place to take action on it. So this is why we asked young T.u.T ``Where do you see yourself in five years?”. He told me that he sees himself being a very successful artist living in a big house with all of his family taken care of. This is a great goal to have as giving back is one of the most important things of success to some people. Young T.u.T is without a doubt an up and coming artist that we all should keep up with. You can keep up with him on instagram @young_t.u.t I think he will tap into the rest of his potential in his upcoming releases and will leave the listener with a great song!
